Florida Trip

We hit the road on December 26th to head down to Florida for a week. It is so hard to believe that this will be our last trip to The Villages, to see Justin's parents there. They are moving back to Wisconsin! Kaylee's friend Caroline came along this time and we all had a great time.

No trip to The Villages would be complete without a picture of Kaylee by her sign...check out the picture below of Kaylee the first time we were down and took her picture by the sign!

And we had to have our day at Disney! Kaylee and Caroline and I headed there on 12/30 and stayed overnight at a hotel, so I didn't have to drive back late at night. We headed to Downtown Disney the next morning and saw all the signs were saying that Magic Kingdom was full - no more tickets were being sold. We were so glad we went the day before! It was a dreary day, but we still had lots of fun!

Christmas

Christmas #1 was on December 20th, with Grandma. We were so excited to be able to host at our house! We finally have enough room to have everyone over to our house!

Christmas #2, with Grandpa & Nana Jo, was on December 21. Another great day of spending time with family, watching the kids get excited to open their gifts and of course, we celebrate Christy's birthday!

And our last Christmas celebration was on Christmas Day, with the Werner clan. It is so great that just about everyone gets there to celebrate together.

Grandma got an ipad from her kids. The first
thing she said was "All mine!". She was
pretty excited.

Kaylee's Back

Kaylee was having some lower back pain that just wasn't getting better, so I took her in to see the Orthopedic doctor. They took an x-ray and thought she might have a fracture in her back! Yikes! The radiologist didn't seem to think so, which led them to order an MRI. In the mean time she was give a back brace to wear and was not able to practice. We were happy to hear that the results came back normal and she could work her way back into playing at volleyball practice. She started some physical therapy to try to control the pain and after doing exercises for a couple days, she felt a lot better. What a crazy month it was while we went through all of that!

Sting 14 Gold

We are so excited that Kaylee made Sting 14 Gold!  She will play with almost the same group as last year and we know they will have a great season....

The season always starts with a Parent Meeting in December and it is great to have the girls back together again. This year I made jersey cookies with their name and number on them...
