Sting 11 Gold Takes 1st Place!

Kaylee's team played in the Burlington Elite 12 Tournament.  They were the only 11's team in the tournament, played great, and took 1st place!  It was a fun day of volleyball.

This is a wonderful team of girls who all work together and encourage each other, don't give up, and have lots of fun.  They have wonderful coaches and are learning a lot already this season.

Our Golden Eagle!

We are proud and excited to announce that Mariah has been accepted to Marquette!  Marquette was her #1 choice and though we "knew" that she would get in, you never know until you have the letter in hand.  Well, it came in the mail yesterday and I ran up to her job and she opened it will a bunch of excited coworkers and Kaylee and I there to help her celebrate. One of the managers announced it over their speaker system and she got numerous calls from other coworkers.  It was very fun!

Mariah has worked very hard in school and we are so glad that she can see it did pay off!

We are so proud of you and love you tons!

Pabst Mansion

Kaylee's Girl Scout troop had a Mother/Daughter day.  We took a tour of the Pabst Mansion and then had dinner at a local restaurant owned by the parents of one of the scouts.

It was a lot of fun.  They do not allow pictures to be taken inside, so I only have a couple from outside.

All of the scouts...

My little girl scout...

All of the Moms and Daughters in front of the mansion...

Sting Tournament #1

Kaylee's team - Milwaukee Sting 11 Gold - did a great job at their first tournament!  They played against the 12 Black team and came very close to beating them.  They took 3rd place in the tournament, only behind Sting 12 Gold and Sting 12 Black.  All of the teams they played against were a year older and they definitely held their own against these teams.  I can't wait for the next tournament!
