Kaylee's New Bed

Thanks to my friend, Amanda, Kaylee got a full-size bed now!  She got a new comforter set from Grandpa & Nana Jo and a heated mattress pad from Grandma & Grandpa Kuecker, and new sheets from Santa.  We spent our day today cleaning out her room and getting ready for the new bed. Justin and Uncle Tavis went to pick up the bed and we got it all set up. I hope she is comfy and really warm tonight!

Werner Family Christmas

We found a great big room where we could hold our Werner Family Christmas. We had plenty of room and the room was beautiful. Grandma was able to put ornaments on the tree for everyone, like she always has. We opened gifts, had dinner, and did our annual candle ceremony to remember those that are no longer with us.

Christmas with Mom

We got together today to celebrate Christmas with my Mom. We hung out at Christy & Tavis' house, had brunch and opened gifts. It was a great day!

More Family Photos

We decided to try to do some more pictures, Tracy wanted a family picture and we wanted one of all the kids together. It was tough to get them all to look at the camera at the same time, but we did pretty good!

Christy and I decided to create our own "studio" space for holiday pictures. We think they turned out great! We even got Simon and Eli to look in the right direction...at the same time!

Badger Volleyball

Kaylee and I headed to Madison with her Sting teammate Ashley and her Mom. We had a lot of fun!  The Badgers won! It was cool to see a college game in person...and even cooler that they made it to the finals of the NCAA tournament this year!

Natalie Turns 2!

We celebrate that Natalie turns 2! She is super smart and can be very fiesty, but she is a lot of fun and I love that I get to spend Thursday with her every week!

BC Group Getaway

My breast cancer group rented a house on Delavan lake for the weekend and spent a couple nights down there. We had lots of good food, lots of laughs, shopping in Lake Geneva, and a dip in the hot tub! We can't wait for our next "Boobie Camp" getaway in Spring/Summer 2014.

Sting Tryouts

Kaylee had Sting volleyball tryouts this morning. We were all feeling nervous - you never know how tryouts will go....Kaylee played well and got a 13-1 offer!  We are all very proud of her and excited to see what the season will bring!

Komen Walk 2013

We had another beautiful day for the Komen Walk. Grandma Werner even came out this year - it was her first time coming to the walk. I am so glad she could join us.

Brewer Game

I was super excited to be able to be an Honorary Diamond Dancer (Brewer Cheerleader) at the Brewer game. There were 100 survivors there doing the routine...so much fun!  We did our routine to "Walkin' On Sunshine".

I can't believe Simon is 5 already!  Time really does fly...
He is such a sweet boy and I am so glad I get to spend lots of time with him!

Found It!

I just came across the picture of Kaylee the first year we went to The Villages to visit Grandma and Grandpa...the picture of her by "her" sign.  Can you believe how little she was back then?

 

State Fair

Kaylee and I headed to State Fair today. We met up with Grandma and Nana Jo and spent a couple hours with them. Then we walked around for a little while longer on our own and headed home. We were able to dodge the rain, it was a great day at the Fair!
