Power League #4

Well, it is time for our 4th trip to Illinois for Power League - only one more to go after this! The girls played great and won all three matches. They continue to be the only 13s team playing against 14s, week after week, staying in the top bracket!

Gotta love that hair!

Celebrating a great block!

Nice pass!

Easter in MN - Volleyball!

We spent Easter weekend in Minneapolis for a volleyball tournament. The girls played pretty well and saw some good competition. They ended up finishing 6th, out of 14 teams. Not too bad. We had a fun weekend! On Sunday, we got to visit with my cousin Angie who just moved to MN two weeks ago. She brought her kids to the tournament and then we stopped at her house to say hi. Then we headed to a different hotel for Sunday night. We got up Monday morning and walked down by the Mississippi River. Our last stop before heading home was the sculpture garden in downtown Minneapolis.

I am so lucky to be able to spend time with Kaylee on these road trips...you just can't get this time back, they grow up too fast!

Trying to figure out why this statue was named
what it was named.

All tired out after a long weekend....

Dad's Work Anniversary....40 years!

My Dad has worked at his job for 40 years and they had a little celebration for him. My sisters and I surprised him and showed up for the celebration at his office.

Jonathan Lucroy!

Prince Fielder left the Brewers a couple years ago and since then, Kaylee has taken a liking to Jonathan Lucroy. The first game where we saw him play, he went up the plate to bat and no one cheered for him, so she decided to be his cheerleader :) What a great heart she has, heh?

Well, I came across some information about an autograph session that was taking place in Waukesha and since Kaylee didn't have a tournament, we headed out to get an autograph and picture with him. We were 2nd in line and we got her bobblehead autographed and a picture signed that I had taken and printed out. He was really nice and is a nice looking guy! ;)

It was such a great event - we will probably try to do this again...next time he comes or maybe another player?

We had a lot of fun!  Can't wait to get to a game and cheer him on :)
