YSC Summit

As a leader of a local Young Survivor Support Group, I attended a national conference in Indiana.  Amanda was so nice to make the trip with me.  We went to a minor league baseball game on Friday night, had meetings all day Saturday, then headed home on Sunday.  It was a quick trip, but we had fun.

4th of July

Due to the drought and fire ban, the fireworks were rescheduled for Sept.

Hopefully we get some rain before then, so they can set them off.

We were so sad that Grandma was not with us at the lake, but we know

she wanted us to be out there, enjoying the fun.  She is making progress

every day following her stroke.  We know she is working hard to get back home.

It was a great way to end the week & season.

Mariah Graduates!

Volleyball in Illinois

This weekend we were in Illinois for a 2-day tournament.
The girls had a lot of fun and finished in 8th place!

and it was the winning point at 33-31!  So awesome!!!

National Honor Society

Mariah had her National Honor Society ceremony where she
got her cords for graduation.  We are so proud of her!

Memorial Day

Of course we headed to the lake for Memorial weekend.
Christy's in-laws came out on Sunday and more of our family
came out on Sunday.  We had a great weekend!
