Meningitis Walk

We were excited that we could participate in the
Meningitis Walk this year (Mariah was playing
volleyball in Minnesota last year). The weather was
not so good, but we were able to get the walk
done before the rain started coming down real
hard. Kaylee was excited to hold Becky's sign...
we still miss her and think of her every day!

Volleyball Season Comes to an End

We were sad to see Mariah's volleyball season come to
an end. It was a fun season...some wins, some losses,
but fun none the less.

More Simon Pics...

It is so hard to believe that Simon is 18 months old already!
He wants to feed himself and he says new words every day...
He is so sweet and I love spending my Thursdays with him!

Back in Wisconsin...

We left Chattanooga at 8:30am and headed for Milwaukee. What a day this was! The travel time was 11 hrs, 19 minutes and it was all that and more... we ran into traffic jam after traffic jam. We even saw an SUV that had flipped on its roof while towing a camper. The camper was all mangled on the side of the road! It was an eventful ride...

We finally got into Wisconsin and were driving on 60th Street near our house when Kaylee said, "It's good to be in our own state". I guess she was sick of being in the car, too! We made it home by 8pm and Marley was sure glad to see us- peed on the floor 4 times! Thank you to my Mom and my friend Tara for taking good care of her while we were gone...

We had a lot of laughs along the way and thoroughly enjoyed our time away as a family...

Chattanooga

We left Florida at 7:30am and headed towards Chattanooga, TN. We ran into a few traffic issues, but got to The Incline Railway at 4pm to find there was an hour wait to get on! So, we hung out and finally got to the top of Lookout Mountain. The mountains that you see way in the distance are 100 miles away! It was great that we got to go on a clear day...the weather was great there also. Mariah thought it was a little scary when we started going almost vertical near the top of the mountain. She was more excited to go DOWN! But, the view were great from the top- we were glad we made the stop.
