Leaving Florida

We were definitely sad to leave. We had such a fun time visiting with Grandma and Grandpa. I think this may have to be an annual trip. I can't believe we had perfect weather every day... 80's and sunny! We spent a lot of time by the pool and did a little shopping. It was just great to spend a whole week with Grandma and Grandpa Kuecker- a big thank you to them for letting us invade their house for a whole week...

Kaylee was so sad to leave... she was crying and sobbing. She got me all choked up, too. I hated to see her so sad. She really wants to go back and visit this summer... we will see if we can get that worked out for her. And, if I have to fly down there with her, I guess I will force myself to go back (I loved it there, too!).

Last Day in Florida...

Kaylee did a little swimming and I ran some errands on our last day. We also learned how to play Mexican Train Dominos. It was lots of fun! We might have to find a set of those dominos for our house! We also took a couple minutes out to take some family pictures.

Last chance to play in the pool...

Group Picture!

Can you believe this is really a sign in The Villages??
We always had to comment when we drove by and
couldn't leave without taking a picture of Kaylee by
"her" Villas. She kept saying, "I'm famous!" So cute!

Universal Studios

Today we headed to Orlando to visit Universal Studios... it was a beautiful day- 82 degrees and sunny! I think we picked a good day- lines were relatively short and we were able to see all of the things we wanted to see.

Bocce Ball

Justin's parents showed us how to play Bocce Ball
today... Mariah was really good at this-
maybe we can find a league back in Wisconsin??

Some cute pics in the morning sun...

I caught these cute pics of Kaylee this morning
while we were hanging out on the lanai...

Swimming...

Here is a video of Kaylee's new trick... when we arrived in Florida, Kaylee hardly liked to go under water and now she is doing SUPER at swimming under water!

Shuttle Launch

This morning we got up at 6am and went over to Havana Golf Course to watch the shuttle launch. The launch actually took place about 86 miles away, but the view we saw was still spectacular! Unfortunately I dropped my camera on the ground yesterday and the lens won't stay on, so I was trying to hold the lens on while taking these pictures (and I forgot my tripod in WI), so they are a little blurry. Justin also had a little trouble taking video of it, so we only have these blurry pictures to remember this event. It would be awesome to be able to see it again- maybe next year??? But it just might have been a once in a lifetime for us!

Just after launch, it lit up the whole sky!

You can see how the shuttle was lit up by the sun,
passed through the shadow of Earth and back into
the
sunlight... pretty cool!
