Godspell

Kaylee's class did a skit that was similar to Godspell. It was a Thursday, so I was able to go - and got to take Simon, Natalie, and Eli along. It was an adventure!  The kids were pretty good. Luckily it was only about 45 minutes long. I love when I can go and see her school activities.

Power League #1

Kaylee's team is in the Power League in Aurora, IL this season. they will play down there 5 different weekends. Week One was pretty successful....the girls went 6-0!  We play again on Feb 22-23rd.

Snow...and Cold!

We have had our fair share of snow and cold this year. These are from one of the first storms of the season. I can post a few new ones after the next storm rolls in....

Kaylee and Mariah have enjoyed some "cold days" at home. It was so nice that Mariah was still on Winter Break when those cold days happened. They spent a whole day in Kaylee's bed, watching Roseanne on DVD. I love that they enjoyed spending the day together.

Kaylee's First Tournament

Kaylee's first tournament was in Stoughton and was a 15s tournament (she is a 13). I was only able to stay for the morning, but was getting text updates throughout the afternoon. I couldn't believe it when I heard they had won the whole tournament! Great start to the season!
